-History-

The definition of Denomination is A group of religious congregations having it's own orginization in a faith. Nobody really knows when denominations were created but, over the years they have change, evolved, and spreaded throughout the world. Over time people have took it upon themselves to create and label denominations, giving it a time and birth place.



Some of the different types of religons that have been created over time are


  • Baptist/Christian

  • Pentecostal


  • Apostolic Church of God in Christ


  • C.O.G.I.C (church of God in Christ)

  • Mulism


  • Jehovahs Witness

  • Catholic


  • Methodist


  • Prebyterin







The three main Relgions that we mainly hear about today are, Christanity(Baptist), C.O.G.I.C (Church of God in Christ), and Apostolic/Penticostal. These are the main three religion that are in our world today.


In a religion, there is some guide that the cogrgations follow, like the Bible and The Koron. Religions also have leaders, rules and guidlines. In diferent religions women have to have their hair covered, some can't wear pants, Some attend church on Saturdays, others can't eat certain foods and do certain things.
